Multi-storey buildings

Amersham

This was one of our new build sites, made up of 1 block of approximately 55 units. Being adjacent to a supermarket, this was a bespoke scaffold designed to get around some tight sections. The buildings were fully scaffolded externally as well as each floor being fully birdcaged.

We also devised our own unique method of scaffold erection which allowed the site to utilise all of the advantages that come with using porotherm blocks. The complicated roof created some challenges, along with the link between the buildings which had to be erected last. We then had to dismantle the remainder of the scaffold without any crane, making the job more laborious than usual. However, despite all of these challenges, we completed this site successfully.

Knebworth

New build retirement living using traditional construction with porotherm blocks. This site is located on a busy high street providing many challenges, and resulted in the need for a pavement scaffold. Birdcages were erected internally and externally.

Hertford

New build of retirement and assisted living blocks consisting of RC frame construction. These five storey buildings were built in the prominent location of Hertford town centre.

The scaffold was erected to enable construction of the frame and also for the internal and external works to be completed by various trades.
